      The company has decent benefits, office space, and compensation (for some)

      Cons

      The majority of employees have been complaining for years about their low total compensation that is not aligned with the market. The biggest issue with Akamai is the exhausting politics among the leaders, and very visible cronyism. Promotions are given to those who are part of the circle. It is demoralizing and disgusting.

      Good benefits, lots of free food and stuff in the cafe.

      Cons

      In just 2 months I was placed on performance improvement and asked to leave myself. I was treated badly by the manager. She had history of this behavior.
