Akamai is one of those companies which is known for its benefits and employee satisfaction. Starting from the first day of joining you will get to know that Akamai is a lot different from other companies. 1. It has the best new hire induction program I have ever seen. The whole program is of total 4 days and on the last day they will take you for an adventurous team outing. 2. Good salary, stock awards and other monetary benefits. 3. Pantry is fully loaded with breakfast, snacks and juice items along with regular tea, coffee, milk. 4. Everyday different snacks and fruit bowl free. 5. Very helpful and intelligent team members and manager, lot of things to learn from them. 6. Flexible timing, WFH option. 7. you'll get Macbook Pro on the first day of your joining :) I don't know of any other company which gives macbook pro for work. 8. Very niche technology and product to work on. 9. Internal project/department movement is encouraged.
