Sub par pay Lack of leadership among management in Ft Lauderdale office HR Department non-responsive to complaints No response to transfer requests Claims to welcome ideas, doesnt Lies during recruitment Manager can cut some perks purported to be available (akamai anywhere) Lack of feedback from immediate management team Lies in employee review and readiness evals, hr disregards complaints about this

Quality of work is also fine .You have the freedom to pick somthing good (and relevant to your team )and work on that . Akamai offers good learning opportunity for freshers /people who are willing to learn and are self driven People are really nice if you need any help or suggestion they will guide you properly

Cons

little less compensation senior management interacts very less to developers .Very less design specification /suggestions/recommendation/review done by architecture .I think they can contribute more which can help a lot for developers to learn

Pros

Cab Facility , Snacks , Work Life balance is ok. Security business is doing good . Flexible timings in most of the teams .

Cons

Work is not good at all. Management only cares about them .Managers will take credit of all your work. Not giving good hikes , Cutting on bonuses also . Stocks are going down. I don't feel working here at all good. Akamai is continuously going down and i don't think joining this company will do any good to your carrier .
