Pros

Supports flexibility with work schedule, working at home if and when necessary with adaptable time off, the camaraderie of my colleagues.

Cons

Sometimes working in cubicle environment is distracting, and would be nice to be able to retreat behind a closed door to help concentrate.

Pros

- If you're acting as a consultant the company management doesn't micromanage while you're on a project. - Holiday and PTO is ok... - Company is always hiring... - The road on positives ends there...

Cons

- There is a massive disconnect between the company management staff and those serving as consultants on projects for their clients. Resulting in many issues where consulting staff isn't being supported or treated fairly by the client and management overlooks major red flags. - Holiday and PTO is ok, but it is up to the discretion of the client to allow your PTO, this leads to clients abusing the use of their PTO and denying yours or probing to the level of unprofessionalism/invasion of personal privacy in order to "find a reason to allow" your PTO request. This caused a serious discomfort with the client and the management team didn't care to attempt to remedy this issue when it was documented and brought to their attention. The lack of supportive management and complacency is ramped and a common trend. - The company is always hiring which is a red flag of being able to retain quality talent. - I could go on and on, but read the other less than stellar reviews of this company before dedicating to entertain an opportunity with Akima or any of its dozens of its subsidiaries.
