Program management laid off my entire team of engineers with no notice after promising job security until at least the end of the year. They also made no effort to assist in finding other roles within Akima. No severance was provided and benefits were stripped 48 hours later. Management also never provided adequate tools for the MBSE team. Instead of purchasing licenses, we were instructed to use a local demo version of the software or attempt to remote into a virtual machine that was down 40% of the time. Absurd behavior for a government contractor.
