      Pros

      I worked here for over 6 years and only left because I moved out of state. Excellent care is provided and wonderful teamwork. Strives to fulfill the mission statement. Provides excellent opportunities for advancement and professional development. Strong shared governance structure.

      Cons

      The organization is experiencing rapid growth and expansion but still strives to maintain the culture of a small, community hospital.

      Mission and vision as stated, opportunity to work in a variety of pediatric specialties, teaching hospital, only pediatric employer, healthcare benefits.

      Cons

      Culture shift impacting employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction and quality of care. Only pediatric employer in town. Often little respect for nurses as professionals.

      Great people to my work with and a great organization to work for. Being an epic trainer I reached the highest level I can and needed to move on and learn more.
