- strong purpose and brand alignment - exposure to complex, high visibility projects - cross-functional collaboration opportunities - leadership structure that allows access (transparency is critical for me)

Cons

- high complexity with limited authority (being accountable without full decision-making power) - cross-functional collaboration with teams that don't report directly to you, lessens ability to hold people accountable - operational pressure + innovation at the same time - ambiguity in role scope and longevity - emotional labor of hospitality work
