      People I work. Nice benefits.

      Cons

      The reviews about IT is true, especially with the new leadership. Churn and burn is right. Many looking to leave (even new hires) as we don't know if we will have a job tomorrow. Seems like leadership likes using fearfactor. This plus not being valued, being underpaid, reorgs and outsourcing doesn't make this a fun place to be. With all this happening, nothing has changed - systems are still old and broken.

      Some great coworkers are the reason I stayed so long, flight benefits are nice for those who have been here a while, better than average 401K

      Cons

      Took away benefits from the most loyal employees, senior leaders lied directly to me on multiple occasions, little diversity of thought among the executives, company took on too much with the Virgin America acquisition and has failed to care for employees and customers during the integration, compensation is well below average, employee survey scores have been low for years but there have been no consequences for these leaders, other Seattle based companies are internally using Alaska Airlines as an example of how a company can fall from great to mediocre
