Pros
Great pay, fun place to work - if you enjoy customers, great training from veteran grocery workers, but you have to be able to gain their respect first.
Cons
Not competitive at all in pricing, advertising, product availablilty, etc. They are struggling to keep the doors open in many locations and have labor down to almost nothing causing department managers to run multiple departments and replace laid off checkers to keep the front end staffed. The unrealistic expectations run down hill from the top. There is not only little to no room for advancement, but few people have any desire to move up due to the crazy expectations starting with department managers and increasing at every level from their up.
