Pros

Good management and solid company. Competitive benefits with good time off and reasonable salary levels.

Cons

Management works very long hours and also works quite often on the week-ends. Salary increases are a little low.

Pros

The people at Alcoa truly care about one another. The company has a good value statement and the culture lives up to it. Work life balance programs, working from home 1 day a week is common. Opportunities to move around globally exists within the company. Great 401K program, $ for $ matching up to 6% plus a 3% kicker for non-pensioned employees.

Cons

Salaries are on the lower end of competitive and the vacation policy is outdated (ie. 15 years to get 4 weeks).
