Pros

Good benefits, Currenty expanding and adding new jobs, Pay is good though not fantastic, Well known and respected company

Cons

Hard to advance even with education/ claim to have education reimbursement but wil not approve any claims, The schedules are all different but mostly rotating 12 hour shifts. Nepotism and favortism is widespread. Robbng the R and M budget to finance failing overseas operations as a result very lttle predictive or preventive maintenance done. Withhold salaried pay increases an performance pay also to prop up failing segments.

"You can't leap frog in your career"

Pros

Product offering is vast and so are the type of jobs. You can almost always find a job that will meet your interests. Additionally, they always give internal candidates a fair shot at a position.

Cons

Don't fall to the impression that you can enter the company, continue your education and then make leaps and bounds in your career and expect salary to follow suit. Development is stifled although encouraged. Advancement is slow if you stay in one location. Expect to move, change business units if necessary, and to make small incremental changes in responsibility and pay to move yourself forward in your career.

If you like wasting your time, then work here

Pros

Salary, most co-workers are friendly, Health benefits are great

Cons

If you like wasting your time, then work here. It takes forever to get anything done as there is a massive papertrail. You cannot buy anything without 10 different people approving first. And if you have a breakdown, you need approval before you can get a part of out the warehouse. Then you get questioned on why it took so long to fix the problem. They keep reducing people (contractors, hourly, salary) in order to cut costs. No one is backfilling the old duties and everyone is getting over worked. They have unrealistic expectations that each person is going to have the next greatest idea to save millions of dollars. And demand that each person implements and tracks 2 of their ideas in a computer system. All they look at is costs, would rather not spend to save than to spend and save in the long run.
