Difficult work life balance due to long hours and many after hour calls Lean manufacturing system that has been implemented incorrectly - it's just lean - not really a system that delivers

Pros

There are few to no Pro's being employed at ALCOA Cranberry PA (USA). Especially in Estimating, Engineering, and Project Management.

Cons

Poor office managers, favoritism, lies, extremely high employee turnover, high Cost of Quality , poor product, once a year Black Friday, office managers take all the credit after employee has worked very hard on a specific project. Expect a "How Youuuuu" every morning. Cannot trust management, expect to be back stabbed and left out no matter how hard one Works unless you are a "friend". ALCOA has a reputation in the Cranberry PA facility by the community as one of the worst employors.
