Great Company with Good Upper Management in EHS

Pros

The upper management of the Environmental Group are great motivators and take interest in each of their employees. In my case, upper management was extremely flexible in where I worked. It is a great company to gain experience in the environmental field and learn it right from intelligent people.

Cons

With the upcoming split, people have not been replaced within the Environmental departments in the event that any of them leave. It places a larger workload on the people still with Alcoa, which can lead to high work load and work life balance stress.

Pros

Hourly employees are great. They work hard and work long hours.

Cons

Management is bad. They do not care about the employees. All they care about are the profits. Management turns over entirely too fast. Not a stable site.
