Pros

Engineering projects were prepared ahead of time and spanned multiple departments for a full Alcoa experience.

Cons

There weren't very many cons with this experience. The only issue is that i was not there long enough to see all the projects through.

Pros

Benefits are okay, the work is interesting with many technical advancements in the investment casting industry, good people in Wichita Falls facility, the company contributes much to the community.

Cons

Expect an endless list of priority one projects, difficult to manage family and work life at times, expect to work 60 hrs/week, 24 hr on-call and weekends, engineering salary is low compared to national average, expect to be accountable for events that are out of your control
