Pros

Alcoa is a worldwide leader in the aluminum industry. Alcoa vision and values are very commendable and should be emulated.

Cons

High energy cost and a glut in the aluminum sector caused the Company to struggle with its operation hence at times there were uncertainity which resulted in instabiiity among employees.

It belongs to Industrial sector. Professional company with good level of ethic.. Multinational framework. Good policies in general.

Cons

The situation in Spain was really bad for this company during the last years. Finally the three factorys in Spain were sold.

Far from progressive-minded. Office cultures vary by geography. Human resources is outdated and slow moving. Middle officer managers embrace "your father's generation" - no young people.
