Pros

Negotiating power, cash reserves, promotion of safety culture. Good work / life balance. The split into the value add company (which will include all UK sites) and the commodity company should improve opportunities.

Cons

Everything based on numbers, too big and corporate, very American culture. Little visibility / infrequent and fleeting visits by high level management. Not the best paying around.

Pros

Good benefits, some great shopfloor workers, can earn a decent salary ( if you put in the hours )

Cons

Management team need to gain better people skills, and stop putting the bullying no skills friends of there's in to jobs of under management ( supervisors ). When complaints are made about supervisor, need to be seen to do something about it, not just pushed under the carpet, and the person that made complaint moved or made redundant
