Pros

You can work 8 to 4 with 2 coffee breaks and a lanch break. There is a lot of independence in how you do your job and no one checks what are you doing.

Cons

People skills of senior management are close to none. The company does not care about recruting right people, therefore level of overall performance is very poor. There is no training scheme for employees.

Pros

Reviews on an annual basis, yearly objectives clearly stated, fine group of people to work with on immediate team, advantages as a big company are that everyone's heard about Alcoa.

Cons

Having worked for the company before it was bought by Alcoa, I could see life before and after. Alcoa seemed to make things more bureaucratic. Seems that the company got more impersonal after the acqusition.
