Cons

-Very predictable corporate culture - "wait your turn for promotion" -No culture. Offices very similar to 'Office Space' 80s movie -Limited upward mobility in USA -Very average compensation, predictable "economic headwinds" resulting in less-than-average bonuses annually

Pros

They pay pretty well, decent medical benefits and 401k match, Union employer depending on which plant you work for.

Cons

Mandatory Overtime, Upper management protects supervisors who bully employees, medical claims aren’t handled correctly - they will close out your claim while you are still injured and tell you that you are “fine”. Dodgy incident investigations where they will pin unmaintained equipment failures on employees even though it’s because the company wouldn’t shell out the cash to fix the equipment properly instead of putting a bandaid on it.
