      Pros

      Immediate benefits and paid time off. Ability to switch positions/departments depending on experience.

      Cons

      No unpaid time off or sick leave. Have to manage PTO otherwise you are written up or fired, even in emergencies. High turn-over rates in certain departments that lead to a lack of leads/management.

      Steady fixed work hours and break time. Decent pay increase for base operators. Ability to move variety of positions and learn new machinery.

      Cons

      HR can seem disconnected from the manufactur labor force.
