Working for a company whose products support scientific advancement and the betterment of humanity.

Cons

- A lot of empty promises. Barely any raise or recognition for efforts. - Emphasis on cross-training for career progression, even when an individual performs job duties exceptionally. - HR uses the yearly bonus to lower the base salary during negotiations. Don't fall for that BS, bonus is not guaranteed to be paid in full. They have enough money to pay you. They're paying contractors double to do the same job. - The "NEED" to be in a certain position for 12-18 months before even being considered for other positions within Aldevron or Danaher as a whole.

A plethora of lazy coworkers, weak supervisors, poor management on multiple levels, lack of appreciation towards employees who do extra to make sure things are getting done.

Pros

Decent benefits, could be better knowing other companies in town pay 100% coverage for their employees. Experience and skills learned in the biomanufacturing world

Cons

Poor leadership/management - very disconnected from operations Hard to move up. Need to be in a position for 18 months before moving titles. Turnover is high, leading to high performers taking on more training/tasks without additional compensation and facing burnout.
