Pros

Excellent company with top technologies developped for separation and thermal applications. Very focused on performances of the processes of end users. Known for being innovative and respected as a true Scandinavian company. Quality image Good way to enter the multiple industries that Alfa Laval covers and you can gained lots of experience. Management has a limited number of levels, which should encourage open minded and free dialogue.

Cons

The local ( country level) top management has two speeches: One local speech puts sometimes inefficient pressure on employees who know best the job to do, too many strategical projects launched at the same time, that are at the end not finalized; all lead to loosing the good elements and most brilliant employees, and encouraging non performant employee to hide and abuse of the system, friendly managers. Another speech from local management is aimed to please executive corporate management i.e matching the values of the company, give pleasant but unrealistic forecast, ending in more local pressure, discredibility to top management of the genuine potential of people, and create frustrated customers.....not good impact on a mid to long term development.
