fast growth,great achievement in taobao, you work can affect thousands of millions custom in electric business ,and have expectation of listed.

Cons

evening hard working ,and less pay back compara with you effort and the peer company . you may offen work after 10 pm .

The people are pretty rigid which can be a pain but there's a lot of emphasis on values and fun at work.

Fun place to work in. Lots of transparency.

Cons

The chinese are very rigid. Its near impossible to get them to see your POV if their mind is made up but then again it tends to vary from person to person.

Pros

Alibaba.com has a good hearted people but being a Chinese company they are not in tune with US buyers. This makes working at Alibaba.com hard when you see so much potential but very few results or opportunities to help. Hopefully this will change with new management changes.

Cons

Eastern culture Mandarin language office Small satellite team in US Technology and IT help is difficult at best Lots of turnover with employees being laid off, fired or quitting Leadership needs some turnover
