Pros
- free coffee provided - free food/meals on holidays - friendly coworkers
Cons
- high turnover rate. at least one person quits or gets fired every week - CEO and HR aka business partner does not see things eye to eye. When giving instructions one tells you to do A and the other tells you to do B. When you ask for a clear direction there is no rigid answer. - OT is expected. You are expected to stay for a meeting even if it is after working hours. - You will be given a work phone and you are expected to respond to messages and emails on it even after work/on weekends - You will be asked to work on some weekends and if you do not show up it will be frowned upon - inconsistent management. new roles get added and removed all the time - some coworkers have no boundaries and ask personal questions all the time - not much room for growth if you are not in the construction or design department - CCTV is everywhere in the office. Your actions are monitored and recorded - CEO has yelled at clients due to conflicts and money issues before - commission for sales team is going to be paid out periodically. The payout is really low but the workload is heavy - you will work with the office in China and the office manager in China does not understand how the business function and yet manage to boss everyone around. She is also very rude to everyone unless it is to managers or people with more seniority
