good first job salary wise if you're right out of college

During the interview they lied to us and told us this was not a call center job and that we will have the opportunity to work remote once we are fully trained. Since day one I have been on the phones either calling people or answering calls and I have been fully trained for awhile now and I have not been allowed to work remote at all they always find an excuse to reject and now they are saying we do not qualify even though we are fully trained now. There is also a set path for you to move up in this company, they do not give you the opportunity to explore other roles and they will force a promotion on you regardless if you want it or not. This company really makes their employees feel like their opinions and feelings do not mean anything. You are welcome to expression any digressions you may have but just know it is going in one ear and out the other and you get the fake smile and nod that they understand our concerns.

You are just a number. Leadership doesn’t care about you They falsely advertise how much they care for their employees. But when it’s time to make cuts they release top producers and top salaries while keeping the bottoms of the barrel to keep costs down.

Decent pay, hired out of college at 55k and was promoted to 67k within 6 months. That goes a long way in Atlanta Office culture is pretty chill, most everyone is under 30 People hang out outside of work, happy hours, intramural teams, ATL sporting events Lots of freedom to work from home/remotely Good benefits and PTO

Cons

Work life balance is tough to manage especially on data conversions team. I have gone weeks of working till midnight or later. Office is understaffed while management tries to grow by adding more clients - this leads to a lack of resources for every project Constantly dealing with client demands without having much opportunity to actually advise them; the worst parts of consulting without the good The job simply isn’t easy. You have to be smart AND willing to work hard and learn independently if you want to be successful
