      What once was a great employer has gone too far the other way

      My biggest pro was the flexibility I had to be remote.

      Over 15 years ago I started at what was once Hewitt and was thrilled to be working for a company that took the time to train their employees and had great opportunities for advancement within the firm. In recent years, leadership's direction has been awkward and truly focused on how to make the next buck, at the detriment to their employees. In recent months, it's clear they are either struggling financially and desperate or are prepping for another sale. Either way, they've laid off a LARGE amount of their long term tenure. Who will be left if everyone over 15 years and longer are gone?

      Flexible remote working, decent benefits

      Cons

      Understaffed, Q3-Q4 includes a lot of overtime and that period has a bad work/life balance, burnout is common since departments do not hire more people to support teams
