Pros

excellent service offering for clients. Hugely supportive of the remote/work from home environment for employees

Cons

unrealistic targets and performance - leaders make changes in the short/near term to impact their yearly bonus and not the long term impact to clients or colleagues. Leadership continues to be untruthful with the team and opportunities are provided at the senior levels based upon "who you know" (more so than in other environments I've ever worked in).

Pros

It's a paycheck. Don't expect to enjoy the job.

Cons

Management is extremely scattered and unsure of the direction of the company. No one seems to ever know what is going on. Pay is awful compared to competitors. Expect about 20% less than your peers with other Workday partners. Layoffs are supposed to be a secret. Alight doesn't care about employees or their wellbeing. The company pipeline is bleak, steer clear as many people don't have enough work. Alight is focused on IPO not on employees.

Pros

Decent Pay Flexible Schedules Ability to work remotely

Cons

Lack of onshore resources Lack of resources in general Takes an insane amount of effort to keep your clients happy Work/life balance doesn't exist unless you're neglecting your clients. Expect to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and while on PTO to keep your clients satisfied. Layoffs due to divestures/not meeting goals. Mass exodus of current colleagues is making life tough for those who are left. Proprietary tools don't translate well to other jobs. Constantly shifting priorities. Unrealistic deadlines/expectations. Lack of promotion opportunities once you reach a lead role.
