      -Good pay and great benefits -Majority of co-workers are nice, helpful and respectful of one another -Great brand recognition and premium products -Friendly workplace

      Cons

      -CEO does not seem to care about employees’ well-being -5 day RTO policy is heavy handed with lack of care for those who have difficult commutes or need workplace flexibility due to caregiving responsibilities -Very difficult to develop or promote to a higher position

      Pros

      Fairly chill work, good work-life balance, decent benefits and pay.

      Cons

      Software engineering at Align, depending on the team, is pretty ancient and some of the tools and technologies used are very outdated (Java 8 and Swing!). You could be going backward in your career growth as a SWE if you end up on one of these teams. Also, company culture is very minimal - no team-building or social groups/activities - though there are occasional happy hours and snack events.
