The pay was comparable to the industry average.

Cons

This company was deceptive and it was horrible the way they treated their employees. I was laid off as well as 90% of the staff in Florida. They let us work until lunch, called a meeting and laid myself and 50+ others off. Told us to log off right after the meeting qnd that our time with the company was over. The severance package they offered was a slap in the face. I would not recommend this company.

I've been employed with AHC since 2014 and I still feel so lucky to work here! Our leadership team supports us and constantly pushes us to grow. I can't say enough about our Founder and CEO John Kao. His passion and constant drive to change the way healthcare is administered to our senior population are off the charts. John's innovative ways of challenging our executive staff and all of our employees creates numerous opportunities that are endless here, there is always something new and exciting to work on around the corner. I can't wait to see what's in store for us in the coming years.

Cons

The only constant here is change. If you can't roll with the punches and adapt to new processes, leadership, opportunities or whatever it may be, you might not enjoy the environment here. With that said, these changes teach us to be resilient and adaptable - both invaluable traits to learn in the workplace.

Compensation is fair, not great.

Cons

Very unorganized, management is unsupportive and had trouble with a team focus, as well as, their own job duties. Procedures in place are for some and not for all to comply with. Operating at a higher level than others may put your position in jeopardy. Medicare reimbursement takes precedence over ethical practice. The turnover is high and everyone was new after the last exodus. It appeared as a start-up company, not one in business for years now.
