The shift from a flat organizational structure to a layered hierarchy has resulted in increased disorganization and distance between teams and leadership. Senior leadership often micromanages daily activities, undermining team autonomy and trust. Delivery dates are set without input or agreement from the employees doing the actual work, leading to unrealistic expectations and frustration. Concerns and frustrations raised by employees are routinely ignored, leaving issues unresolved. Projects are being managed by individuals who lack the necessary expertise, causing inefficiencies and poor outcomes. Managers often lack adequate training, which impacts their ability to support their teams effectively.
