The engineering leadership, from the CTO and all his crony VPs, is not inspiring by any means. They engage in fear-mongering and exhibit an excessive boss-versus-subordinate attitude. They all worked together previously, and any hire they make is just terrible and fine with taking orders

Cutting headcount to get to profitability. Sagging customer satisfaction scores driven by a massive, year long backlog of customer issues. An organization increasingly struggling with organizing the efforts of nearly 1000 employees. Management that is communicating on a "need to know" basis.
