Pros
This is by far the greatest company I've ever worked for! This company understands that culture and personality are extremely important and technical skills are secondary. With that said, you still need the technical chops to work here, so we end up with very skilled people with awesome personalities, which makes for a really fun and engaging work environment. The benefits are fantastic, how can you beat free catered lunch every day! The product is also selling which results in tremendous growth within the company. The leadership team at Alkami has done an outstanding job at always seeking opportunities to tweak our process and actually do it. I'm totally stoked that I came to Alkami, I've found the developers holy grail!!
Cons
Alkami is not for everyone. If your a developer who has already "checked out" and want to punch a 9-5 without speaking a word to anyone all day and only do what your told. This is not the place for you. Not a con in my book, but would be for some. This is a very fast paced environment and the developers need to be mentally quick and take the initiative without being told. You will hit the ground running without a lot of hand holding. Great for the developers who thrive in this kind of environment, but it's not for everyone.
