Great platform to learn but challenging environment
Pros
Former leaders from Aston Carter (now senior leadership of Allegis Group) are great people to learn from and real leaders. If you like a culture of meritocracy and were leadership is valued then you will enjoy working there. They also have a great L&D infrastructure which is a real opportunity for anyone looking to make their first step in recruitment.
Cons
This company is the typical old school recruitment model. Work hard, play hard, you have to be on the phone all the time if not you'll be told off... Not a real emphasis on well being and work life balance. Same problem in the regions but additionally a lack of good leadership, favouritism, bias. If you make it through for at least 3 years, you can work anywhere else. You will leave this company with thicker skin.
