      Like "The Firm" - once you're in, you can't get out without getting hurt

      Pros

      Many beautiful facilities (except many decrepit areas of Abbott); EPIC; lots of money for salary and infrastructure.

      Cons

      Focus on making money, not patient care. Conform, or die. When employees criticize or question, they whisper for fear of reprisal. A truly malignant environment. Just look at the hordes who've left, from seasoned staff to physicians.

      Glad I had it, learned a lot, and would never go back because of the lack of caring about their employees.

      The quality of care and the hard working, caring employees.

      Cons

      -inability to fully leverage strength of service lines and clinic networks across the system -lack of collaboration-within and between sites -cutting costs without regard to patient experience and with the customer "physicians" in mind
