- pay compared to other companies for the same work is lower - morale can be low (mostly due to workload) - promotion within department is very hard to get - management is concerned with blame and 'who did it' when an issue occurs (it seems more than resolving the issue) - management tries to overwork everyone (literally told by management in a meeting that more projects and work was going to be given to us but they weren't concerned with hiring more people; we were just supposed to "do better with our time" and this is the typical attitude on resources
