Hemorrhaging employees due to poor treatment

Pros

PTO days - if you can actually take them, which you can’t due to being overworked due to all the RIF’s and departures.

Cons

Massive RIFs in 2020 and still going. Not a stable workplace. If you survive the RIFs, you’re overloaded with work with no increase in compensation. Tons of voluntary departures as well, since Allstate treats employees so poorly (they make employees take “assessments” (which are like mini-SATs) to determine who gets RIF’d or put on performance improvement plans). Favoritism is rampant, and generally the most incompetent employees - who don’t work hard but do ingratiate themselves with leaders - are the favorites. There is a hidden rating system so that, even if you are rated expected, you could be low expected or medium expected (they won’t show you this hidden rating) and you won’t get your target bonus. No room for advancement or promotion.
