Pros

Good benefits, pension and 401k matching, full health insurance, option to buy PTO days during enrollment, PTO is given in full beginning of the year (don't have to wait to earn hours).

Cons

Recent changes with Shapiro are focusing on cutting costs and saving expenses -- but it's at the cost of company culture, employee morale, and customer service. The workload has doubled (at least) since he took over and now there are rumors of outsourcing more jobs and cutting more positions (this is on top of the thousands that were laid off last year). It's hard to move out of claims to any other department - nearly impossible. Longtime employees who were near retirement have been fired, recently hired employees are expected to manage work with minimal training and managers are so bogged down with busywork that they can't even coach their team anymore.
