Pros

Benefits are decent and they still offer both a pension and 401K plan where most other companies don't. They also have flexible work options.

Cons

Promotions don't always go to the best qualified people as there seems to be an atmosphere where who you know is more important. As a result, some in manager positions are not well equipped with people skills to lead/motivate their teams even though they may have great technical skills and they end up losing good people. Bonuses only go to higher level people even though the rank and file employees due the bulk of the great work there.

Pros

There is some potential to make money, if you work for the right agency owner Flexibility (varies by agency) Some free marketing material

Cons

No benefits compensation plan..most exclusive agents can't afford to offer medical benefits, 401k or even vacation time. Corporate is only interested in looking good to the shareholders. Technology is so outdated that it makes day to day tasks difficult. Most offices are understaffed 99.9% of the time
