Pros

Allstate has been very good to me. I am a working mom with a special needs child. The yearly PTO is outstanding. The management is very good with allowing me to take my time as I need it. They also offer to pay for you to go back to college and get a degree

Cons

My office is 2 states away. This is a problem if I want to advance or maybe take an inside job. They are changing the medical benefits to a high deductible plan. They do offer a HSA but I will have a 4500.00 family deductible to pay before coverage will start.

Pros

Work environment is not stressful Onsite perks such as free use of gym (open 24 hours) Healthy lunch entrees available at the onsite cafeteria ($2.99) Comprehensive Benefits package available

Cons

Pay seems to be below market for the type of role No bonuses available for my department My department's timekeeping policy is very strict Health insurance deductibles and monthly rate is very pricey
