In technology world they are way behind. They are trying to reinvent themselves by spending money on changing processes and adding new products to fit the times but they are not doing it with the right people and products in place. I classify this company as an Onion, too many layers to the onion on at this place. There is a lot of experience here at Allstate so change is hard to sell and implement. If you are young and starting out on your career path it's a great place to start and get your feet wet. If you are in the middle of your career, stay away. You will be frustrated with how slow things are done and how strong minded most folks are here and they will cause problems for you if you are passionate about your work. If you are close to retirement or at the end of your career. You could find a home here. Again slow paced and very stuck in the processes and it's like ground hog day here. Clients and Insurance is number 1 not Technology.
