Pros

There are none this place is terrible stay away. Ask HR about 80/20 this is a way to cut people that are not complying with the Allstate culture. You need to ask yourself what are you willing to sacrifice to work for this company. I have to provide for my family and unfortunately I schlepp into work daily and due my minimum. Pay for performance is more like pay for the people that play (politics). Good luck if you must.

Cons

What isn't a downside everything sucks especially Senior Management (Above Director)

Pros

If you have a family, there are lots and lots of benies. Its a great place if you are African American or Hispanic - both have affinity groups that advocate for you and open doors for information sharing, community and job coaching.

Cons

If you are a visible minority or female, work at Allstate. Sorry, white males need not apply for promotions once they have been hired - its a glass ceiling once you turn 50 as a white male in the IT area. If you make waves, you'll be shown the door.
