Agency Owner Incompetent and Discriminatory
Pros
Great coworkers, good pay, fully remote
Cons
Despite years of experience working in the field, the agency owner does not know how to run a business. She consistently offers performance perks and then forgets them or changes what's needed to earn them. She promises to be present supporting her team but spends the majority of her time doing her consultation side gig rather than supporting, training, assisting her team to actually succeed at making her business thrive. Additionally there is not enough staff to run her business for her or to properly cover if any of the staff are ill, have an emergency or take their PTO. And she does not honor her own contracts equally: when two employees fail to make required quotas for the first three months that she's open (and ignoring her business rather than growing it), she only holds one to their contract, releasing them, while keeping the other which is discrimination and unequal employment practices. Additionally, when I approached her with concerns about my job security she swore my job was secure and I had nothing to worry about, and then released me two weeks later because she claimed she couldn't afford me, while she hired new employees the same week. Don't work here. I would be surprised if the agency is still there six months from now.
