Not a good place to work right now

Pros

Pay and benefits were above average compared to other similar-sized financial companies...from what I heard. Bonuses had been very good...until 2005.

Cons

This company has been in turmoil since 2006 (subprime mortgage debacle)...In the division I worked (ResCap), it was just a matter of time being laid off. Employee morale was terrible.

nice people; good opportunity for high income if you have expendable income to begin with; good training program and support

No opps for growth; empty promises; a lot of work for free / no pay; going got tough, left agents out
