Pros

This company just gets it. Employees are given the freedom to work from wherever they are most productive. Management is open to feedback and makes changes based on suggestions from employees. Team members are judged based on output and results, not on time spent in front of a computer. Tuesdays and Thursdays are free of meetings and Slack messages, so employees can enter states of deep flow. Managers push their people to do great work and help them get there.

Cons

This is a fully remote, fully distributed company that focuses on asynchronous work. That is not for everybody.

Pros

Everyone on the team is extremely committed and willing to help each other achieve our goals. The vision is clear and communicated consistently, and everyone embodies the values that underpin our culture. There's a huge amount of technical challenges, definitely the most interesting domain I've worked with in the past. Being fully remote, you can work where and when you want, and the company organises retreats around the world to make sure everyone can meet in person and spend time together.

Cons

Like in every startup, priorities can change quickly, which can be frustrating if you're not used to it.

Pros

Incredible opportunity to redesign the way people do work and collaborate together. The work is filled with unique and interesting design challenges on every level from user flows all the way down to micro-interactions on how exactly to edit ordered list or adjust the width of a table cell.

Cons

Typical startup experience, more problems to solve than time to solve them.
