Pros

From my past jobs to this one – AlphaSights can be a breath of fresh air: - Offices are designed well - Kitchens are fully stocked - Junior employees are trusted with a ton of responsibility - Leaders regularly make the effort to act on feedback - Everyone – I mean everyone – puts in 110% in what they do, regardless of the team or office Since it's rapidly growing, organizational needs change quickly and everyone who joins needs to be ready to jump in and pivot depending on the situation. The fast pace can lead to ambiguity or uncertainty especially as new teams start to form. If you're someone who can thrive in this environment and doesn't shy away from building up new processes and strategizing what's next – then this place is for you.

Cons

Hours can be long but if you're up for it, the work is rewarding.

Long Hours and Poor Management

Pros

-Fun Company Culture. Team sponsored events monthly, free expensive holiday parties, etc. -Subsidized catered lunch and lots of snacks, free company swag -Nice people for the most part

Cons

- You will learn everything you need to know in the first 3 months, after that there isn't much more to learn from the job. -Young management means lack of experience and mentorship, ie hard to learn from your managers because they are also in their 20s. -Issues with gossip and the job is very repetitive and monotonous. You won't be building a ton of hard skills here unless you're on software engineering. Long hours (8am start time, most people don't leave till past 7pm) - Homogeneous culture, lack of diversity -No breaks throughout the day. Most people eat at their desk or in the office.

Pros

Smart people, fun right out of college

Cons

It's basically a fraternity. Leadership is young and inexperienced. Job is boring.
