It's a busy job and the first ~12 months are just busy work more or less, although you get paid more if you do well, so ideally you benefit from putting in the work. Once you're a more senior associate you get a lot of responsibility, and the ability to manage a team after 2-2.5 years is the biggest draw of the job. Love my coworkers
