Pros

Great co-workers! Fairly flexible with scheduling, depending on your team leader. Decent pay for relatively easy work. Free doughnut Fridays! Team leaders will stand up for their teams especially in odd, emergency scheduling situations and taking it upon themselves to help boost morale!

Cons

Once you are on a certain schedule, no matter how bad, you are essentially stuck with it until the busy season. Very unclear and constantly changing expectations on "quality" leave you chasing a unicorn to achieve more than just barely acceptable scores. Parking during big program ramp ups is a nightmare unless you are chosen to be one of the lucky few who are assigned a parking spot near the building! (Winter walks from your car get VERY cold!) Most positions are temporary and moving into a leadership position tends to be less focused on the ability to do the position they are offered and more on the time with the company as a whole.

Pros

I have been working at Alta Resources for Sunrun part-time for more than a year The Brea office is a tight family, everyone became friends and free lunch on Thursdays.

Cons

SF pretty much pushed all the company work to our small Brea office and then cut off all ties. They always told us "if you have any questions, dont be afraid to ask" or "were here for you guys if you need help." BS! They wont even let us call them directly anymore and we have to email this priority queue if we need help. They dont even return our emails most of the time so we are pretty much on our own. And when we do actually try to help the customers to the best of our abilities we get reprimanded because we didnt ask permission. They even got our manager fired and no one will even tell us why. Im pretty sure it was because he was standing up for us and they didnt like that. Were just slaves to them. Im pretty sure they do about 5% of work on a daily basis and play football in their office the rest of the day. Its sad too because I had such high hopes when i was first hired. I actually have a feeling that this company isnt doing so well either. I think the SF office knows something that they are not telling us. The company has good ideas, but a really bad way of treating customers and employees. And im pretty sure all the good reviews are from the people from SF because they are treated like kings while we are treated like slaves. We dont get paid enough to do this job.
