Pros

Some friendly co-workers, campus is decent

Cons

Everything else is downright awful. Management especially, in my department at least, was unpleasant. Anyone with a more prominent position in the company acts oblivious to the misery of us commoners.

Pros

You have people to share in the poor work experience they will often understand what your going through and will become friends easily. Paid training. Section events like ice cream socials or pot lucks.

Cons

Training was incredibly unorganized but paid. There was more than one day that we litterally stayed there for at least half the day doing nothing while they tried to figure out what to do next. They don't care about the well being of their employees. I was there as covid hit. I can almost garuntee everyone on my floor had it as it would take out sections of cubicles at a time. The company didn't care if you had doctors notes or were legitimately sick they threatened to let you go. Most of us were bringing it to work. Mind you, this was February 2020 so they weren't aware of what it was... Once March hit they found out what was going on yet they took over a month to figure out a way to get us working from home. They then still had people in office and you would not be able to work from home unless you provided your own equipment to do so. A large number of people still had to work from the office with no means to afford a home laptop. The job was incredibly toxic. I eventually left after continued sexual harassment on the phone was not addressed by a manager and the numbers calling weren't blocked. In my section we would constantly get calls that were sexual in nature and they would call back specifically to the women and say crude things. The male manager did absolutely nothing for the multiple women that would come up to him and report numbers. The response was often, "We will see if they call back." They did call back and the manager would still not block the number partly due to the fact "he wasn't receiving those calls." They will easily push you into every possible mode of media relations with customers, whether it's phone, chat, email or social media expecting you to do two things at a time on a regular. There are also so many things they will baltently lie to you about in your interview that will never come to fruition. I signed up specifically for a social media job and was put on phones. I was told I would get a raise after training due to my education and was told I would be able to easily move up once trained. The schedule I specifically left previous positions for was discussed and that I would not like to work weekends especially both Saturday and Sunday. They advised that weekends were on volunteer basis and that I wouldn't need to worry about them. Once I was done with phone training they scheduled me for weekends and gave me an alternating day and evening schedule when in the interview I said I didn't care the shift as long as it was the same every day. They had assured me those requests wouldn't be a problem. Some people who have been working there for 10 years had never seen a pay increase and were working for around $13 or less and were needing to stop at the food pantry to live. It has extremely high turnover and I would not wish this job on anyone. Everyone who was in my training class has left in one way or another within their first year. Another note, they never go over any sort of crisis plans with you and have no plans for an active shooter situation.

Pros

I was employed. I learned some new skills and systems.

Cons

I had some issues with this company not offering any permanent positions. It's very hard to get 40 hours and depends on what dept you are in. They give you a temp position and let people go in waves. Then rehire for that same dept a couple months later, then give those new people hirer pay then the people who are currently working there. Some dept wfh, some don't. You'll take a pay cut if you switch departments and they give you benefits. They definitely nickel and dime. If you're looking for stability, choose somewhere else.
