Pros

The devices help patients in pain.

Cons

The management is poor and has minimal if any experience. There’s constant micro management of your “stats”. You will be given additional tasks listed for higher representatives but no raise and certainly no promotion. When the management catches on that you are a strong employee they take advantage of you. In addition to poor management many employees have become aware of cliques in management and HR that will discuss their employees negatively outside of work. This is very unprofessional and I hope it ceases in the near future. After all we do sit across from HR and everyone has ears.. This company may put their best foot forward in the hiring process, but once you are an official employee you’ll see the vast differences. They created a toxic work environment by not listening to their employees, having bad leadership, and quickly burning out employees. Until they change internally the same outcome is going to keep happening. I expected more professionalism and employee care than what I experienced and would not recommend anyone to put themselves through this mental strain of a company.

While Zynex certainly promotes a culture of performance, we also reward our employees with a compensation and benefits package that leads the industry. Not only that, but our organization provides a ton of opportunities for every employee to develop their skills and careers. What other company do you know of where 80% of all managers are promoted from within? If that sounds like what you're looking for, we encourage you to apply!

Pros

This is a good medical device starter job

Cons

Although they don't require you to have a lot of experience, they still expect you to know everything with little help.

At Zynex we are quite proud of the extensive opportunities for growth and development we offer, just ask 80% of our managers who were promoted from within! All employees are encouraged to reach out to management should they feel they need extra assistance. We wish you the best of luck in your career search.

Pros

The device sold helps a lot of people.

Cons

Super toxic environment. I know of a few people, myself included, that were promoted to management. We got the title and responsibilities, but no pay bump. We're getting paid less than the minimum they advertise the position for. But they "just can't rationalize" that much of a pay bump. This is after a record year of sales. For 11 months of the year I'm told I'm doing a fantastic job, but the month I get evaluated for a raise, I'm "not performing up to standards". The hypocrisy doesn't stop at management. The CEO can't let go of his position. Give credit where it's due. He created an amazing product! But he is far too prideful to let things go. He hasn't updated the product since the early 2000s and won't hear any suggestions on how it could be improved upon. He also spends the majority of time overseas in Europe. Last I checked, he was purchasing his SECOND European futbol team. He also had the company spend around $100k on the holiday party (2022) to flaunt the success of the company that year. All of this, and they still can't afford to pay their employees what they themselves advertise!?!?!? I also want to mention a manager I worked with that got their tuition reimbursement approved. They were told that the degree would add to their experience and get them the raise they were wanting (again, to the minimum they advertise). They took out student loans and got their degree. Not only did they deny the raise, they also waited 3 months after the degree was earned to tell the employee the reimbursement was going to be denied because it "wasn't needed for their position". So, this person trusted her employer to help them with their career, but then was saddled with more debt and no raise because of the shady practice the company has to save a buck. Again, AFTER A RECORD YEAR!!! Another story is when they hired a really smart person as the compliance manager. Doctorate and everything. They were collecting examples of how the company was out of compliance (their job) and putting together a plan to remedy. They were fired for "gathering evidence against the company". It was their job!!!
