Great atmosphere

Pros

Bettendorf Altorfer has a great team atmosphere of very dedicated employees. Benefit package is excellent. Love the early hours so I can spend the afternoon with my family. The training program is very in depth and ongoing throughout the year. Altorfer is willing to invest in their employees. Many 20+ years.

Cons

There's not alot of cons. You have to be able to work in weather, cold, heat, rain, etc.

Union runs the company

Pros

The union runs the company. If anyone in the union says they dont like you, you are gone. It's that simple. Pretty sad.

Cons

Pay and benefits were decent.

Good place to work

Pros

Lots of opportunity to grow in field. Get to see a lot of different equipment and do a lot of different jobs.

Cons

Moving up levels is not clear and the management group move the goalposts to move up.
