Being hired as an engineer directly out of schools, Altus was able to provide an amazing environment for me to learn and grow as a medical device innovator. With the small company size, I was exposed to all aspects of the business and learned how an engineering team should operate within the larger picture. The management is encouraging and supportive. Tasks are delegated strategically to challenge employees without overwhelming them, keeping team members engaged and interested. I worked for Altus for almost 3 years. I started as an Accounting Admin, was promoted to AR Specialist after my first year, and then promoted to Accountant after my second year in the company. I learned a lot there. Since it is a small company you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and to interact with multiple departments daily. My boss (the CEO) helped me a lot and was flexible with my schedule when I needed it. Another pro is that the workplace is super clean and organized! If you are a fast learner they will give you a chance to take on more responsibilities, and you will be promoted within the company.
